Recruiting & Outreach

Get involved and help us grow the Maritime High School community! There are many ways to make a difference from sharing school communications to inviting MHS to table at your events to connecting with prospective students and families. Your involvement helps spread the word about the incredible opportunities we offer.

Direct Support of Students

Maritime industry professionals play a vital role in shaping the future of our students. By offering mentorships, job shadows, internships, and providing informational interviews, you help students gain firsthand insights into the maritime world. Attending our annual Fall and Spring Community Learning Showcase is another great way to provide feedback that pushes students’ growth as future maritime professionals.

Support Learning Experiences

We strive to fully integrate maritime industry perspectives into our school's curriculum design. There are many ways to support this work, such as hosting fieldwork experiences and attending students’ presentations of learning. Your involvement helps ensure that our students are exposed to real world experiences in and outside of the classroom.
