Dear MHS Families,
Thanks to all of our student families, community, and staff for participating in the Thought Exchange for our Maritime Promise. From the results you can see a depiction of the responses displayed in the word cloud above. We will use these thoughts and themes as a basis to construct our Maritime Promise statement.
We are also pleased to announce that Maritime High School has hired Bridgett Cabiles as our World Language/Humanities Generalist Position for the 22-23 school year and beyond. Bridgett comes to us from Kennedy High School. She is an innovative bilingual Spanish Teacher with strong written, verbal and student engagement skills. Bridgett brings a wealth of experience building strong relationships with students and families, community building, focusing on social-emotional learning, and engaging students with Spanish Language and culture. We are excited for Bridgett to utilize her strengths in our collective future work ahead! Welcome aboard!
