Maritime High School has earned Gold for Best Trade / Technical School in the 2026 Best in the PNW competition.
Best in the PNW is a community-voted program recognizing schools, businesses and organizations across the region. More than one million votes were cast across all categories in this year’s competition.
The recognition is a chance to celebrate the students, staff, families and partners who make Maritime a special place to learn.
“We are so proud to see Maritime High School recognized by our community,” said Principal Jamila Gordon. “Our students get to learn in ways that connect what they are doing in school to the real world, and that happens because of the incredible commitment of our staff, families and partners. This recognition is really a celebration of our entire Maritime community.”
At Maritime, students combine academics with hands-on, career-connected learning. Through partnerships and real-world experiences, students explore the maritime industry and the wide range of careers connected to it while preparing for their next steps after high school.
Thank you to everyone who voted and continues to support Maritime High School and our students!
