Field Work
Maritime High School provides hands-on learning experience for students to explore a range of professional and career pathways. Unlike traditional high schools, classroom time is supplemented with frequent fieldwork experiences with industry partners and boat-based learning trips.
Students visit a range of maritime businesses and organizations, including:
- Port of Seattle
- Mithun
- Pacific Pile
- Washington State Ferries
- Kenmore Air
- CSR Marine
- . . . and many more.
9th- and 10th-grade students also have boat-based experiences on the Admiral Jack. Hear from a student about their experience learning on the water.
